ameliacare Posted June 2, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2015 Headed to a Celebrity European cruise next month. Was looking at our cruise packet from Celebrity where the included gratuities and drink packages were listed. However, our Celebrity OBC was not listed anywhere. When I booked, our Costco travel agent told me we would get $300 from Celebrity. Called Celebrity and they said they have our OBC listed on their end but for $200. I have Costco's confirmation packet showing $300 from Celebrity plus the Costco OBC. Hmmmmmm . . . Do I do anything now or just wait and see what happens on the cruise? If I only get $200 from Celebrity, I guess I could complain to Costco. What would you do?
montekat Posted June 2, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 2, 2015 I would question Costco as to the discrepancy. Nothing ventured, nothing gained!
H2OH! Posted June 2, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 2, 2015 Call them. We have used them several times and never had a problem. Good luck

kathynorth Posted June 2, 2015 #5 Share Posted June 2, 2015 What level cabin did you book and how many nights? I'm surprised that Celebrity told you what they had listed for OBC. We've always been redirected to the TA.

Rare chemmo Posted June 2, 2015 #7 Share Posted June 2, 2015 Yes, get back onto Costco and ask for celebrity paperwork to be updated. I would suggest that you then take any paperwork stating the amount with you on your cruise. My husband an I joke about how many visits it will take to guest services to get the correct amount sorted! We have found out that showing them in black and white (which they then always photocopy) usually speeds up the procedure! One of the unmentioned perks of recently travelling in a suite has been to give to the conceirge our documentation, show her the discrepancy and then leave her to sort with guest services. Have a great holiday!
