Upsell offer

Don't wait too long or it will be gone.

A balcony is a big necessity for us in Alaska, we spend hours out there. :D

We always get a balcony for Alaska. I spend every sea day out there for hours all bundled up just looking at the scenery.

It's so funny to me because my DH and DD are in the cabin watching dvd's of Leave it to Beaver on the laptop.

I just don't understand that!

Hi! This is a super silly question, but did the caller ID happen to say it was from a 661 area code? I got 3 calls today, but no vm and it won't let me call the number back. But i remembered that Princess is in California, which is where this area code originates...hoping i didn't miss an upgrade offer for our cruise!

If it was, unfortunately, that opportunity is probably gone ... that's why it pays to have a TA...

TA wouldn't necessarily answer the phone either if busy or not at work that day.

I think the poster would have had a VM left if it was Princess. It was probably a junk call.

Princess HQ in Santa Clarita is in area code 661. So it could be they who called, however when I received an upsell offer from them in the past it was by email, not phone. Did you happen to check the email account you have on file with Princess as well?

Has anyone received an upsell offer on a 3 or 4-nighter? I am booked on one in about 90 days, in an inside cabin. I noticed that there seem to be lots of unsold balconies, so am hoping for an upsell offer. Of course there is no way of knowing how many balcony gtys are outstanding.

I have received upsell offers in the past of $99 to $149pp from inside to balcony on 7-nighters. I am wondering what they normally ask for shorter cruises?. I am guessing $49-79pp, but thought I'd ask in advance so I know what a good deal is if I get an offer.

Thanks in advance!

Our recent upsell was sent by e-mail also. I called Princess and left a phone message as instructed, then they called me back to make the change. I was able to get a Caribe balcony for $99 pp - we originally had an obstructed OV booked.
