kentuckychris Posted June 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2015 We have a large group. Some want to horseback on the beach. Some want to parasail. A few want to swim with the dolphins. Does anyone know about any of this? I don't have that kind of time to research.

When you don't have the time to research, it's best for folks to find something they would like offered by the cruise line for a shore excursion. ;) LuLu
Viv0828 Posted June 9, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 9, 2015 An option might be for one person in your group to research port one, another to do port two, etc. You shouldn't have to shoulder the entire responsibility. Good luck. You might also look for the roll call for your cruise and you could get some ideas there.
blue_water Posted June 9, 2015 #4 Share Posted June 9, 2015 Someone from each group (horse backing, parasailing, etc) should take the lead for their activity. If no one wants to do a little research Lulu's advice is the best you will get. A little research and these "coordinators" will quickly find that some ports are better for horseback riding on the beach while others for the dolphins. Good Luck! ;)
blue_water Posted June 9, 2015 #5 Share Posted June 9, 2015 And as Viv mentioned you can also find ideas for each port on your roll call, just go th the Roll Call forum under your cruise line and someone will have started a thread for your ship and sailing date. St Thomas is a great beach and daysail port.
Ms411 Posted June 9, 2015 #6 Share Posted June 9, 2015 Do they want to do all these activities on St Thomas? If so, they have to take ship's excursion for dolphin swim. You can reserve horseback riding at Golden Age Ranch. You can reserve parasail through Blue Reef Watersports. Unless you're getting compensated, they should make their own plans.
