Pool noodles

I read that you can take some gear on board for port excursions, like snorkeling gear, and Carnival will hold them for you if you can't have them in your room. Anyone know if a pool noodle is allowed? Or if those are readily available for beaches & snorkeling in ports?

Noodles are generally used in pools and not at beaches for use in the open ocean. They are not usually used for snorkeling either. I wouldn't bring anything like that on a cruise and certainly not on a plane if you have to fly to the cruise!!

My sister brings her pool noodles all the time. She has a big suitcase and wraps them around the interior.

Sure, we took a pool noodle, 2 small foam "boogie boards", a life jacket, and face masks. We squeezed them easily in our bags.

They also make blow up noodles, we bring them, blow em up, and leave them at the beach for someone else when we're finished.

We did a snorkeling tour in St John and they had noodles to use, I slipped one under my vest and it really helped.

I think noodles are great for the ocean and snorkeling. I don't know about Carnival storing them for you, sorry. But you could store them under the bed easily and never have to worry about it.

We bought a set of 6 air noodles from Amazon. We take them and a small hand pump in our beach bag to the beaches in port. They work great and take very little room in your bag. When we take our snorkel equipment we do stick them in our snorkel bag;however, we usually use our snorkel vests while we are snorkeling.

Store them under the bed, with the luggage.

Of course you can bring them...you simply can't use them in the ship's pools, as there is not enough room.

I found a blow up pool noodle at dollar tree. Might get it to bring along for long snorkelling days.

Pool noodles are sometimes used a kid's under-sheet bed bumper.

We always bring noodles and our snorkeling gear, just wrap the noodles around the interior of your suitcase. Works great!
