Lots of Sea Days?

Just curious, going on a cruise to Bermuda this fall and have about 5 sea days. For any that have sailed with extra sea days do they have activities going all of the sea days? The most we have had is about 2 sea days and usually there are a lot of things going on to keep you busy if you choose, however with 5 days just wondered if they will continue with activities. Trying to just get a plan together for this trip. Thanks for any information!

I prefer sea days myself. Afternoon tea, morning brunch. Looking at a recent daily they have: general trivia, 80's trivia, tv theme trivia, star wars trivia, sports trivia, geography trivia, science trivia..... Then there's getting up early enough to lay claim to a decent lounge at Serenity so as not to be deep fried all day long. So much more than NCL ever provides on sea days.

Of course the cruise lines plan activities for all the sea days. I've been on several cruises with five or more sea days. Cruise lines have cruise directors and activity managers for just this purpose.

I love sea days. Do everything or do nothing! I really like if we have already done the itenary and I can practically have the ship to myself while others scramble to the gangway to get off!

My wife LOVES sea days. She would be in heaven on your cruise. Lots to do, or do nothing, simply kick back and relax. Personally, I wouldn't mind 5 sea days, as long as they weren't back to back. I've been on a cruise where, due to weather, a couple of ports were changed or cancelled, and we ended up with about four or five sea days in a row. For me, it got a little tiresome. Still, I couldn't complain too much. A sea day beats a work day hands down. Happy cruising!

I'm another one who LOVES Sea Days! I never think I have enough and always feel like I missed out on something because there wasn't enough time to do everything I enjoy. Relax with a good book by the pool or serenity or inside, tea time, trivia, wine tasting/pairing, cooking demonstrations, lido entertainment, spa time, mini golf, casino, etc. I would be the type who'd take a week long cruise to nowhere if it was available....especially on the newer ships.

I love 'em too. I once took a 7 night cruise, and never got off at ports (had done the same cruise 6 months before). The port days were best as I was on the ship, and almost had the run if it!:D

Enjoy the sea days as there should be plenty to do! You may get to experience some activities that the regular cruise runs don't get to.

Also enjoy sea days but think Princess has more imaginative activities than Carnival.

Our HI cruise seemed not to have enough sea days. (4.5 going and 4.5 coming back)

Never bored.

 

The best was the alternating breakfast and lunch menus with the brunch menu.

Eye love see days. You can sleep in and never feel rushed. We once had a string of 5 see days in a roe, and wished we had 5 more.

We base our trips on the number of sea days. We have been on trips a few years back that had no sea days....it was harried and horrible!

I don't mind 1 or 2 sea days, but more than that would bore me....

 

The thing is, even if you have NO sea days, you can still stay on the ship and use it's facilities...and, with fewer others aboard!
