Water Taxi stops

Is the water taxi stopping at all 3 piers on a regular basis now, or just two? If not, can you just request that you want to go to the furthest pier?

Also if you have an all- day pass can you just hop from one pier to another? Thanks.

Does any one know the answer?

Very little has changed since we had our little discussion back in 2013.

Remember 'Island Time.'

But that's not to say that NOTHING has changed.

At the time the pier was planned, there was an associated project for the lots betwen the Boardwalk and Frontstreet.

That has now been executed as the Down Street Cruise Heritage Development.

They announced imminent opening back in April. Yeah, public toilets!!! :)

And now, finally, I understand that it is open.

If anything is going to get them to utilize the third pier, I hope that this does the trick.

All that said, the Water Taxi all day pass should allow hopping from pier to pier, but they are only about 4-500 yards apart.

Taboula Mango's or Lazy Lizards are two good places along the boardwalk. Both nearer Bobbie's Marina. But there are lots of different bars and restaurants all along the boardwalk, many trying to hustle you in with offers of chairs and umbrellas.

Are there any good seafood restaurants close to either of the water taxi stops? We thought a nice lunch would be a great option when we visit on FOS in December..

See my earlier post.

You might consider Antoine By the Sea.

It's on The Boardwalk, near the far end, and has fantastic food and a great view.

You can have burgers and seafood linguine or splurge for Lobster Thermador. :)

The Antoine Reserve Chardonnay is quite nice at $18.

For the jewelry shopping, I have some suggestions, but this is a restaurant question thread, so you might ask it again in a new one??

Be prepared, I have three favorites. :)

Now you're talking[emoji173]️ do you think you can get dinner items for lunch? Oh, I see they do. Great! Do they have an indoor option? Thanks for your suggestion...

Antoine's is a wonderful spot.

If you'd clicked through to my PhotoBucket you'd see that it is an indoor restaurant with waterfront seating, as well.

Heck, you can get beach loungers and umbrellas and eat on the beach if you'd like.

Even my friend karysa has recommended Antoine's.

p.s. And I will mention again that I find the house Chardonnay a great value. :)
