helvic Posted July 4, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 4, 2015 We are on Britannia in November the Shore excursions are not yet on our cruise planner, we don't use them but they are a good point to start planning our own tours. Any idea when they will put them on.

Any idea when they will put them on. Generally speaking the port excursions are standard per port more or less or likely to be so. If you find another cruise visiting the port but sooner you can look at that voyage/port. Excursions normally come out 2/3 months ahead of sailing roughly. I have used http://www.viator.com in the past and they run tours all over the world; country by country, port by port. Lot of ideas on there including specialist interest like Lisbon in a chauffeur driven motor cycle and side car combination. Plenty of choice and basic ideas. I have found them good and reliable. groovechick Posted July 5, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 5, 2015 We have the same problem re our Caribbean cruise in December. The excursions are normally listed 12 weeks before departure. Unless things have changed on Cruise Personaliser in the last 2 years, it also drives me mad that they do not list prices until you have been through almost all of the booking process for a particular cruise I have been looking at Celebrity's website which lists its excursions, and an idea of prices, so I can get an idea of what is available and the cost, and then compare it against doing the same thing DIY. Scorpio41 Posted July 5, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 5, 2015 Its normally about three months (90 days) before you sail. :)
jeanlyon Posted July 5, 2015 #5 Share Posted July 5, 2015 (edited) I;ve just looked at a Britannia cruise for November and it shows the excursions, under Your Ports and Excursions. OK, there are no prices, but normally for 3 hours, its about £30, 4 hours - possible £40 and so on. I think you can do the same in cruise personaliser. You just can't book. http://www.pocruises.com/b525/mode-itinerary/ Edited July 5, 2015 by jeanlyon
