Disembarkation Day

Our flight home isn't until evening. Does anyone have any suggestions for something to do for the day before we go to the airport? We will have already seen Pearl Harbor and we really don't want to ride around in a bus all day. Are there any hotels that might have a day room?

We booked the ships excursion for that day, a tour of the everglades, they keep your luggage then drop you at airport. We booked a later day flight on our trip back because it's a lot cheaper

When we did the Hawaii cruise some years ago, we decided to book a "day room" for disembarkation day since our flight from Honolulu wasn't until late evening - but we had to pay the full price... For us it was worth it though, to have a relaxing day before heading back home.

I doubt you'll find a hotel offering a day room but it's probably worth it to book a room & request early check-in. You'll be able to relax by the pool or @ the beach, enjoy a nice shower, have dinner & head to the airport when you're ready. There's nothing worse than having to find ways to kill the day while lugging around your carry-on while waiting for a 9:00 pm flight....

Have you tried the Hawaii Port Boards? LOTS of great information there about things that happen ashore in Hawaii.

Are you doing a pre-cruise hotel package? If so, ask them if they have "day" rooms.
