Ijmuiden Disembarkation

Have disembarked in Amsterdam and Rotterdam before, but never Ijmuiden. I'm considering a HAL cruise that disembarks at 7am. Could those who have recently disembarked at Ijmuiden tell me about the disembarkation process? There is a flight that leaves at 10:45am and I would most likely pre-book a shuttle or taxi. I’ve always had extremely smooth disembarkations in Amsterdam and was wondering if this would be the same for Ijmuiden. Any thing I need to know?

Even if you disembark early it might be risky and a a bit short in time.

IJmuiden is about 20 miles from the airport. If this is on a weekday expect much traffic during rushhour.

At least not only book a cab before but also try to do online checkin.

If traveling to the USA many airlines want you to be there at least 2 hours or more before. Often checkin closes 1 hour before departure.

Security now takes place at a central location, not at the gates any more.
