Have some friends who left today for this cruise, they are very concerned about the typhoons in the area. Has anyone heard about any changes in their itinerary or possible cancellations?

The ship rely on their radar and will turn away from storms, although they may encounter heavier seas. Other then calling the cruise lines for information i don't know of any site, except perhaps a weather report for the areas they will be cruising by Port. Before we leave I check the local weather for the Ports we will be visiting to better plan our packing.
