Sending photos from cell phone on Mediterranean cruise.

Recommended Posts

My camera will send photos to my cell phone.I will be using both to capture moments. My provider is t-mobile.My question is has any other t-mobile user done this while at sea/port? And is there a package that I need to sign up for with either t-mobile or Royal carribbeaan? Any and all info is appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure exactly what you want to do.

If you are looking to email photos, then I'd get the ship's unlimited WiFi package, which is not metered by the amount of data you use.

avoid using 'cellular data' to do this especially from the ship

find free wifi sites when ashore and then transfer your pictures

I'm just back 1 month in Europe and ran up ZERO extra charges on my phones going this way.

Check with t-Mobile about EU access. i was able to add 100 minutes of voice, 100 texts and a couple of G of data for $24 a month... on Verizon ... did this 'just in case' and did send a few messages and made a couple of calls. But saved big stuff for free wifi days.
