Rare mistyPA Posted July 21, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2015 I was looking to book a single studio interior room for my uncle on Anthem of the Seas, so I added him to the waitlist offered by the cruise line for a small deposit. Last night, I decided to check the website and found that studio rooms, both inside and balcony were released and I was never notified. Thankfully, I was able to get a room. No thanks to the cruise line. So, for those who are on waitlist, please don't rely on the cruise line to notify you because you very well may be missed. molly361 Posted July 21, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 21, 2015 I am sorry that happened to you but glad that it worked out. Did RCL offer any explanation?
Rare mistyPA Posted July 22, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted July 22, 2015 No, they just apologized. I would just think if you are asking for a deposit and taking the deposit, you would notify the person. My friend is also on the "waitlist". I let her know she should try daily, just in case they don't let her know.
LisaAtlCruiser Posted July 22, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 22, 2015 I never even knew there was a waitlist! But now I will look for that as I appreciate studio rooms that are few and far between.
Ken at the beach Posted July 22, 2015 #5 Share Posted July 22, 2015 This is not the first time that someone has posted that the wait list process is unreliable. Best is just to keep checking on your own.
