We will be going on a Celebrity Cruise next March 2016. We purchased the 7 night Southern Caribbean cruise (Veranda Cabin) from San Juan. We will be visiting Barbados, Antigua, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, and St. Thomas. Are there any excursions worth doing?

Welcome to Cruise Critic.

You should head over to the Ports of Call board to get a good idea of what is available in each of these ports and to ask any related questions:

You will also find the Roll Call for your cruise most helpful. You can find your Roll Call here:

Enjoy!:)

Hi, and welcome to CC!

My DH LOVED the America's Cup excursion in St. Maarten and wants to do it again when we return in January. He took an active part and I was an observer, but fun for all. They use actual former America's Cup vessels, back from when they were made of wood. Great Sailing!

That is a good itinerary, on one of our favorite ships. There are plenty of excursions, both Celebrity organized, and independent tours. As mentioned above, Ports of Call and Roll call forums are a great place to pick up information.

Enjoy the Summit!

Hi, we just did this cruise last spring. In Barbados you must hook up with Cliff Sharker to snorkel with the sea turtles. Hands down the best excursion we have ever done. In St Lucia the land and sea tour is really popular and pretty great. Our group loved the sulfer med bath and suffer springs.

We also did this cruise. If you get up really early on the morning you are going to St Lucia you go past the Petons, magical in the early morning light...pot of coffee and croissants on the veranda, perfect!

great sightseeing without even leaving the ship!
