k9_Cop Posted July 23, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 23, 2015 If it was for a grand suite sure, but not the ocean suite. Keep the 600 and use it for something better
islandatsea Posted July 23, 2015 #5 Share Posted July 23, 2015 I would say no thank you to that amount. Spend that money on other things.
Bellicheck Brain Trust Posted July 23, 2015 #6 Share Posted July 23, 2015 I would not do it, I got a similar offer on the Conquest but for $300 total and we turned it down. We have done three suites and on carnival we do not think its worth the extra money. Unless you are going to spend a while in the room, put that money to better use elsewhere

42rob22 Posted July 23, 2015 #9 Share Posted July 23, 2015 I see Kyle the upsell troll was busy yesterday. I got the same offer for my upcoming 7 day Valor cruise. Having a suite would mean I could cancel my FTTF, but I'm still $540 in hole. I politely declined.

DebJ14 Posted July 23, 2015 #15 Share Posted July 23, 2015 Check to see if the Suite Deal is available on your sailing. We got a Suite Guarantee on the Freedom for 659.00 on a 5 night cruise - makes it cheaper than some balcony cabins.
jamscckmc Posted July 23, 2015 #16 Share Posted July 23, 2015 If it was Royal Carribean and a suite included a concierge and lounge with free drinks and laundry or on Princess with a stocked mini fridge and free laundry and dry cleaning. With Carnival you only get a larger room and priority on and off the ship. Not worth $600. That can buy a lot of drinks and dinners in the steak house!
