imsulin2 Posted September 26, 2005 #51 Share Posted September 26, 2005 Just to set all of you straight, you can actually "win" your own deck chair/s IF: You play electronic Bingo every day, buy two items at the art auctions, sign up for both the slot and BlackJack tournaments, buy three Lotus Spa treatments, create your own martini, limit yourself to one crab leg, participate in the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" at MUTS, win the Princess Idol contest, and bring your own Garfield beach towel. Trust me.:D
Bassethound Posted September 28, 2005 #52 Share Posted September 28, 2005 I was wondering about that also. I was sure I had read about MUTS on Sapphire, but can't find a mention of them now.
prarie cruiser Posted September 29, 2005 #53 Share Posted September 29, 2005 Wow, prices for deck chairs have really gone up! I also heard you can get a great discount on your cabin room if you bring your own oar and help paddle since the fuel prices have gone up so much! jbrambach Posted September 29, 2005 #54 Share Posted September 29, 2005 I thought I read that a reserved lounge chair was going to be one of the new "perks" if you book a mini or suite.
suziehmkr Posted September 30, 2005 #55 Share Posted September 30, 2005 I just figure I HAVE to be this way...my husband is the guy who sat at the dining table with 6 new friends/tablemates on our second cruise and asked, "Which ship are we on?" because he truly had no idea. Someone in this relationship better be sweating the details! It always cracks me up when I talk with people that have been on cruises recently and they don't know the name of the ship they were on. OK - the sad part is that if they tell where they went, I can tell them what ship they were on! :) I have to admit, I am a planner... and I have asked about Eggs Benedict so I know whether to get up and get dressed for the dining room to have them... or have DH run to the buffet if they don't. But the planner in me still laughs at some of the q's that are asked. I just use it as my humor for the day. Coral, thanks for making me laugh on this one!! Cruisin' Chick Posted September 30, 2005 #56 Share Posted September 30, 2005 And don't forget the slot machines on the outside of the pay toilets. You can't use them unless you hit triple cherries.
Cruisin' Chick Posted September 30, 2005 #57 Share Posted September 30, 2005 I met someone this summer who didn't know the name of the ship they were on a few weeks before. After hearing what cruiseline (Princess), what port they sailed from (Seattle), and the day of the week they left (Saturday), I said, oh you were on the Diamond Princess.
