Golf in Victoria, Canada

It's not a crazy question at all and was easily found in a few moments of searching. There are none close to the pier; you would have to take a cab or rental car (both easily do-able, though).

Some of the descriptions say how close you are to the center of Victoria - Ogden Point pier is actually not the center of Victoria, so do add a little extra time and distance to those descriptions.

My concern is that since you have posted here on the Alaska board, are you only in port for a few hours? What are your times?

Lots of beautiful courses here in Victoria - if you belong to a club, maybe you have reciprocal arrangements with any of these: Uplands Golf Course:http://www.uplandsgolfclub.org/, Victoria Golf Course:http://www.victoriagolf.com/web/pages/northstar;jsessionid=23877FECE9BBC16E05B836546E6B8E7D, The Gorge:http://www.gorgevalegolf.com/page/Home.

Cordova Bay Course is a public course and very lovely. It is about 20 minutes by car from the ship dock. http://www.cordovabaygolf.com/

Sorry, I am not a golfer, have no idea about playing regulations. Good luck!

Yes we are on a cruise and only in port for a while. But I didn't know they had so many golf courses! Just a crazy thought!

It's not crazy at all; people golf on the West coast practically all year round and some of the Victoria courses are world-renowned. :) As mentioned, it seems you are only in Victoria for a few hours to satisfy the PVSA, and I would assume it might be in the evening - not sure if you want to spend your time there golfing (or if there are tee times that late in the day) as Victoria is amazing and there is lots to do right in the downtown core.
