marco Posted July 31, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2015 This just seems strange. 6 of us (all close friends) are going on a Viking river cruise next month. The 3 couples are all on different flights. It's really not that big a deal, but you'd think everyone (not just the 6 of us) who are flying out of JFK would all be on the same flight. Zach1213 Posted July 31, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 31, 2015 Not very surprising. Viking likely is like all other cruise companies that sell air - they bulk purchase stuff ahead of time, and just plugs people in wherever it fits them (Viking, not you) best. Doesn't matter if they're flying between the same places on the same dates...they may all end up on British Airways, or they may end up 2x on British Airways, 2x on Lufthansa, 2x on Air France, or whatever. Rare FlyerTalker Posted July 31, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 31, 2015 Hey, don't complain. At least the couples are flying together on the same flight. :D Read the sticky at the top of the forum to get a better understanding of how cruiseline air works.
