Knighton Posted August 1, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2015 We are on the Ruby Princess, which stops at Juneau from 12:30pm-10pm. Our gold mine tour is from 2:30-4:45. We can go to Mt Roberts tram anytime. I'd like to get the shuttle to Mendenhall as well. Am I trying to pack too much in? I know the shuttles from mendenhall stop at 6, but I'd be willing to call a cab, since our ship doesn't leave until 10pm anyway. Advice? Thanks! BCHappyGal Posted August 1, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 1, 2015 Skip Mt Robert Tram but make sure you get to Mendenhall
Nancyquilts Posted August 2, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 2, 2015 Mt Roberts tram would depend on the weather. I wouldn't go there unless the weather is clear. The price at the tram office should be the same price as the ship, so you can decide if you have time.
Budget Queen Posted August 3, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 3, 2015 As already suggested, do the tram as a walk up. You would have time before your Gold tour to go up, and then again, after you return from Mendenhall. Mendenhall does not "close" but it does become quite deserted sometimes. :) You may want to arrange your cab pick up with your drop off cab? But have cab numbers handy and a working cell phone. :)
