The world residential cruise ship.

Recommended Posts

Friend of mine was looking at buying in [yes he can afford to,] but waqs turned off when he was told that when in Australia she sails near empty between Tasmania and Mainland as Bass Straight is too rough, said he didn't want to spend all his time with wimps.

When we did our first cruise (Princess) one of the crew told us about a wealthy lady who spent most of the year onboard one or other of their ships.

She went cruising after he husband passed away (no children and few relatives) and liked it so much she decided to continue long term and negotiated a personal deal with the line which allowed her to transfer between different ships when mutually convenient.

Apparently she has become friendly with several staff across the fleet and is recognised wherever she goes, and treated accordingly.

I've since heard of other cruise lines with similar near permanent residents.

Nice life if you can afford it !!! :)

Well, maybe not.
