dacsmom Posted August 3, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2015 This link might help you: http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruise/ships/ship/decks/deck/home.do?deckCode=03&shipCode=AL&shipProfile=1622&sailDate=1150806&hasNavigation=false I really enjoy deck 8. It is a short walk to Central Park.
Clarea Posted August 3, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 3, 2015 (edited) The only OV staterooms I see are on deck 3, and are under either the ice rink, lounges, or the casino. Did you really mean OV (no balcony), or is an oceanview balcony OK? Edited August 3, 2015 by clarea
bleuiz Posted August 3, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted August 3, 2015 We were planning on Ocean View..I will have to talk to my TA to figure this one out.. Thanks
momof5cruiseluvrs Posted August 4, 2015 #5 Share Posted August 4, 2015 We booked 2 oceanview rooms on the Allure for our November cruise. They're on deck 8. That's what our TA recommended. They had oceanview on deck 3 but she discouraged it since the casino is above it. I checked cruise critic and our rooms have other rooms above and below. Ken at the beach Posted August 4, 2015 #6 Share Posted August 4, 2015 Oasis has Oceanview rooms all the way forwards (forward facing) on decks 7,8,9,10 and 11. If you want cabins above and below pick deck 8,9 or 10.
rtroyer4 Posted August 5, 2015 #7 Share Posted August 5, 2015 I know this post doesn't really apply to the original post, but I am having problems figuring out how to create a new post. My wife and I are going on the Allure in September and we are trying to set up a tour in Rome, but all we can find is one for almost $350/per person through the ship or through another tour company. We really don't want to spend $700 on a day long tour. We were told that we could try to post a link on this forum to get a large group together so the price drops to $150/person, but I am not getting any responses. I have a tour guide and a Mercedes van all set up, but not enough people. If I cant get enough people, does anyone have any suggestions on more affordable tours so we can see all of the major highlights in Rome? Any help is greatly appreciated! dacsmom Posted August 5, 2015 #8 Share Posted August 5, 2015 Right below the Countdown to Quantum thread is a gray button that says new thread. That is how you start a new thread. It is kind of hidden. Not knowing which excursions are available on your sailing I looked on shore excursions in Rome on the RCI website: A Taste of Rome - CV13 This one is a 9 hour excursion and is $99/pp. Are there no excursions listed in your cruise planner?
