lhc2266 Posted August 5, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2015 I just finished typing my review of our cruise from July 30 through August 3. This cruise made me fall in love with Carnival again. Excellent food and service all around.
Rare sprint180 Posted August 5, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 5, 2015 Elation was my families first cruise in 2011. It made us fall in love with cruising!
Podna's Posted August 5, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 5, 2015 Love the Elation. An oldie that never disappoints.

PunkyH Posted August 7, 2015 #5 Share Posted August 7, 2015 The Elation is our favorite ship. Have sailed her 12 or so times. Doing a B2B on her again in Sept.
denrusk Posted August 8, 2015 #6 Share Posted August 8, 2015 I agree with everyone so far, Elation is a great ship. Not crowded, great crew and still well kept. The cabins show some wear, but overall still clean.
pch Posted August 11, 2015 #7 Share Posted August 11, 2015 We will be cruising over fall break with our 7 year old grandson and this will be his first cruise. He is getting excited but since we have never cruised with a child before looking for some pointers and any tips, hints or opinions we can get about Camp Carnival. Thanks for anything that anyone can offer.
Carol1560 Posted August 11, 2015 #8 Share Posted August 11, 2015 We loved the Elation as well (4 cruises). WIll be sorry to see it leave. Very nice to hear some positive stuff about an older ship. Cannot beat the crew either! Kudos!!
marshhawk Posted August 11, 2015 #9 Share Posted August 11, 2015 It's not leaving, just finding a different place to visit:)

lambuth2007 Posted August 17, 2015 #11 Share Posted August 17, 2015 We will be leaving on the elation in 10 days. Can anyone tell me about the Serenity Deck? We are a young married couple with no children and will probably spend most of our time there. However, from the pictures and other things I have seen, it seems some what small. Also, are food and drinks available on the Serenity Deck? Thanks for your help! Happy sailing.
Donh44 Posted August 17, 2015 #12 Share Posted August 17, 2015 It's not leaving, just finding a different place to visit:) I read somewhere recently that it is going to Jacksonville top replace the Fascination. Hope so, looking to check it out and try it.

djacobson Posted August 18, 2015 #14 Share Posted August 18, 2015 We will be leaving on the elation in 10 days. Can anyone tell me about the Serenity Deck? Also, are food and drinks available on the Serenity Deck? Thanks for your help! Happy sailing. You can enter the Serenity deck from the Cole Porter Lounge on Promenade deck or take the steps down from the Tiffany's restaurant on Lido deck. Although there will be a waiter available to order drinks, you will likely have to bring food down to the Serenity deck. The deck seems small, but there are 40-50 chairs. There are only a few umbrellas. The area fills up quickly, but it is one of my favorite places on the ship. Hope you have a great cruise.
marshhawk Posted August 19, 2015 #15 Share Posted August 19, 2015 The Serenity deck has two hot tubs, and no pools. It is small, but a nice quiet area. I see a lot of folks reading out there, or napping. No kids, no music blasting, just a serene area.
