Captains assignments

How far ahead do they give the Captains their assignments? And where can a listing of the Captains currently on each ship be found?

You won't find a list of ship's officers anywhere. Copper10-8 used to maintain a CC thread listing them and it was stopped at the request of HAL. You can ask Copper for the officers for a specific cruise or two, but it seems he only knows around 4 months ahead.

And they usually work 3 months on the ship, then off 3 months, etc.

The last 3 years or so, we have had a bunch of new captains and hotel directors and cruise directors.
