Hi Everyone!!

We just got off this morning and we loved the Pride!! I will give you what I loved and what missed the mark a little bit.

I loved The Red Frog Pub!! Tepson and Yorden are my favorite bartenders of all time. They were great. I tried almost every drink on the menu.

David's Steak house was amazing. Loved the lobster bisque. I had the filet mignon and lobster tail. Chocolate tray for dessert!! Yummy!!

Ken was my favorite Maitre d' of all the cruises I have been on. He has an amazing voice and sings every night. He is very personable. He is the first maitre d' that had conversations with our table every single night.

We went to every session of bingo and most of the trivia. We won 2 ships and $300 in bingo. Dustin was adorable. Had us chuckling.

My husband enjoyed the shows. 88 Keys was his least favorite but he really liked them all.

Comedians and the Quest were so funny. Haven't laughed that hard in a awhile.

Food in the dining room was pretty good. Our waiters worked so hard. They didn't have any time because they were constantly on the go.

Buffet food was okay. Guys burgers were amazing!! Sandwiches and burritos were good. Pizza was not good.

There was vibration but didn't bother us. Especially in the dining room in the back. We went for brunch on Saturday and everything was shaking. We laughed about it.

There were not a lot of waiters at shows and around the pool. It did annoy me because I have a broken ankle. We had to get a lot of our own drinks. A lot different from when we first started cruising.

The floor was so slippery by the pool. We slipped constantly. My daughter fell once hard. We saw many people fall. They were mopping it up but didn't make much of a difference.

Green slide was working.

Margaritaville was so much fun!! Favorite part of Grand Turk.

Any questions please let me know!!

Danielle

We, too, were on this cruise. Our consensus is...we agree with just about every point you make. The Red Frog Pub was awesome and my husband also slipped on the wet deck! Grand Turk Margaritaville was amazing, but Half Moon Cay is the best beach we've ever been to. Now, off to unpack and do a little laundry :-(

We were also on this cruise and had a great week again aboard the Carnival Pride. The 2.0 upgrades were great- but did make some areas more congested. With over 30 cruises- it's sometimes hard to be impressed anymore and not see the changes over the years. This was a wonderfully hard working and friendly crew and staff. Spent a good bit of the week at the Alchemy Bar- wonderful service from Tetyana, Andrei and Michelle. Also kudos to Renzo and Anton in the lobby bar. In addition to be wonderful mixologists- they were excellent magicians and kept us entertained. Also have to acknowledge Mercy, the Casino Host and Simona at the Red Frog Bar on lido.

I'm not a fan of the playlist production shows. Cute concepts- but the talent is not that great. They need stronger singers and it will improve the experience immensely. First time sailing with cruise director Steve Kinsley. He was fine- kinda mono-tone and didn't have the energy you normally see in a CD. Just one persons opinion. Food was great at all venues- lido, main dining room and David's steakhouse. Half Moon Cay never disappoints.

Great, great cruise. Carnival Pride is a great ship!

To crazycruiser68: We are Platinum and did the self assist debarkation. We were off the ship by about 9:30. If you advise guest services that you have an early flight, they will work with you to see that you are among the first to leave the ship. Steve Kinsley was the CD. He was adequate. The CD doesn't make or break a cruise for us, though. Enjoy your cruise! The Pride ranks among my favorite ships, so far!
