Gordo Posted August 10, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2015 Hello, we will be sailing on the Allure of the Seas next month. This is our first time on such a big ship (very excited) and are trying to figure out where to meet up with fellow passengers who are sharing a private tour with us. Typically we just ask everyone to meet once you exit the ship, just past where the crew takes pictures. But we do not know if this will work on Allure, as there may be more than one way to get off such a big ship. We are looking for suggestions on meeting points for a group of eight people. If passengers can exit at more than one location, is there a location on the ship that makes the most sense? Thanks in advance for your assistance. Theredofshaw Posted August 10, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 10, 2015 there is more than one way to enter the ship (goes off the letter of your muster station). as far as departing, unless you are disembarking permanently (rome/barcelona) you can leave the same way. rome uses the front for permanent departures and aft for those there as a port call. barcelona uses both for departures. your best bet is to meet on board in one of the bars on the promenade and go from there. I'd suggest down near studio B or the casino but the ship tours leave from studio b and it can get VERY crowded down there (we lost our ship person carrying the number due to their chaos but found our bus number on the pier). Gordo Posted August 10, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted August 10, 2015 Thanks for information. Since there are multiple exit points, it probably makes sense to meet on the ship before we exit. We prefer not getting mixed in with the ship tours, especially since you say it is very crowded. Any other suggestions, that will get us together away from the crowds, and allow for a good meeting point that will easily get us off the ship? Thanks. Both are on the promenade and easy access to the fwd exits.

Gordo Posted August 12, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted August 12, 2015 I strongly suggest meeting in the Champagne Bar on Deck 5. :) Will it be open that early? [emoji12] Thanks to all for the suggestions. Something that gets us close to where we can quickly exit the ship makes a lot of sense.
Rare BillOh Posted August 12, 2015 #8 Share Posted August 12, 2015 Will it be open that early? [emoji12] Thanks to all for the suggestions. Something that gets us close to where we can quickly exit the ship makes a lot of sense. Getting off Allure is very easy and most of the places recommended to you are not very crowded. Even if they are not close to the exit, its a quick walk to get there. Many on our last cruise met in the schooner bar because its empty at 7am and it was an easy walk to get off from there. Good idea to do this, whatever you pick will work out well.

Something that gets us close to where we can quickly exit the ship makes a lot of sense. even if the bartenders aren't working, most the places mentioned are still "open" and have seating available. Here is a convenient place centrally located, Bow and Stern:
