Celebrity hotel in Denali

Anyone know what hotel we will be staying at in Denali on Celebrity cruisetour?

I believe I saw the RCI buses at the Denali Park Village Lodge? This isn't a place I would be without a car, isolated. :)

While I also believe that Celebrity is using the Denali Park Village for at least some of their cruise tours, I am not sure if some of their tours are still booked at the Grande Denali.

 

The Denali Park Village is located several miles south of the entrance to the national park. Those who do not have their own transportation may find themselves with limited options.

I can speak from recent experience. We stayed at Denali Park Village last month on our Celebrity cruise tour. The village is a fine place to stay with good service and good food. Just remember, nearly every thing in Alaska is expensive. They also provide free transportation to Denali Park. They leave every hour on the hour to Denali, and return to the village on the half hour. I believe this goes late into the evening. You would need other transportation if you wanted to go to "glitter gulch."

It is Denali Park Village this season we were on Celebrity in June and told RCCL was identical. We didn't care for it. Did the Cabin Nite dinner one night that was enjoyable and food good. But, second night ate in their one restaurant, was cafeteria like and food just ok but didn't feel like paying or traveling to Salmon Bake restaurant after long day into Denali.

 

Also, room very basic, not even a fridge and very small. More like a cabin feel. Was our least favorite on our Celebrity cruise tour.
