Carnival Spirit is currently in Singapore in dry-dock getting a refit.

The pics are up on the Carnival Facebook. Looks like a pretty big reno outside of just the new eating establishments. The casino and the atrium bar have been gutted.

 

It looks more like a rebuild than a refit.Massive amount of work going on.:)

Long overdue!

I was on her in January and I think she was the most hideous boat ever, it was ugly, nothing matched, fake gold, angels on the ceilings, I doubt it has been refurb end since it was built

Here's a shot from her bridge cam ,dated 22/8 , looking out over the drydock to Singapore.

Anyone know when she is due , out of dry dock ?

The dry dock is currently (1745 Sydney time Sat) being filled & the Spirit will float out in the next few hours

Thanks for the update. I thought it must be around now. Just checked and her cruising programme starts again Aug 30, Singapore to Brisbane and Sydney.She'll be back at work again from tomorrow.:D

Hard to believe it could be as ugly as Legend which we found badly designed and eye blisteringly ugly!
