Now that my summer traveling is coming to a close, I am looking forward to my Breakaway cruise in April. It will be our first time sailing on one of the supersize ships.

I thought it might be fun to get some input in a different way. Give me your best thoughts, tips, ideas and observations in 10 words or less in regards to the NCL Breakaway.

Thank you for all of your feedback!:)

Breakaway specific ones:

  • Spare room key to keep the lights on.
  • Small pools, so get there early.
  • Small theater, so make reservations.
  • See Rock of Ages on "At Sea" day.

General cruise tips:

  • Bring a power strip.
  • Use car service if cheaper than parking.
  • Empty minifridge and stock with soda cans from home.
  • Do Bermuda excursions on your own. Much cheaper.

This one is very helpful too. I am very interested in learning more about the three I highlighted in red!

An "At Sea" day simply means its a day that the boat is at sea, and not in port.

No, I got that part of it, but thank you anyway. I was just curious why the poster I originally quoted suggested seeing Rock of Ages during an At Sea day rather than a port day. I'm just curious what the difference would be.

In response to the above, when dining at Cagneys, Moderno and the seafood place, you can fine on the waterfront with a gentle breeze kissing your cheeks as you watch the sun set.llll

Toasted almond is like an ice cream thick shake with alcohol. I'd have one with lunch at O' Sheehans.

Mango meltdown is a frozen drink made with mango....yummy.

SORRY TO GO OFF TOPIC

Really no difference. Don't want to assume what OP meant, but we enjoy seeing the shows on sea days, because port days are rather busy, tiring, and you don't want to have to worry about returning to the ship, showering, dressing, eating and making the show.....whereas sea days are more relaxing, and we look forward to a nice dinner and show without the stress.

Safe sailing
