You made them backwards! It's fill the glass with champagne and top with just little orange juice. So your day would end a bit early. You're on vacation. :p

Lol harvey, were trying to make it to the dance party tonight at 10:30, havevto pace myself lol, but they were good none-the-less!

Thanks dcipjr, you may have just sold us on it!

But we are getting strong votes for horseshoe from the main lobbyist meaning the better half lol. We will see

Why not do both? We did the St. George's beaches on the first day in Bermuda, when everybody heads to Horseshoe. Then we went to Horseshoe on the second day, and it wasn't crowded at all.

Here's Tobacco Bay:

And here's Gates Bay / St. Catherine's Beach:

I'm sure you can sell your better half on it. :D

SeaDog,

Did you happen to see any Boursin cheese on the buffet spread in the Haven Restaurant? They used to always have it, but it's been missing on my last 2 cruises. :(

For those of you that don't know what Boursin is, it's a mild herb & garlic cheese spread. It's wonderful on a fresh, flakey Croissant.:D

Seadog,

We will be in the Haven on October 18th. We have an OS #16100 and Penthouse #16118. I can't wait. It will be DD's 1st cruise ever!

Can you post who the concierge is, and if there will be a change before we sail?

I look forward to following you!

Thanks,

Linda

Linda - we will be neighbors that week - we are 16124, looking forward to seeing the Haven on the Breakaway! Will be the first time on this ship. Love the Gem and know this will be different!!

Cruiseprincess stop by and say hello! I'm in 16100 and DD & her DBF are in 16118. Are you signed up for our roll call? If not, be sure to check us out here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2094054

I was on BA last year to Bermuda and we had a great time. The Haven area on the Gem doesn't compare to BA's. :D

SeaDog,

So happy to see you doing another live post. You're making me hungry with pictures of eggs benedict. :D Can't wait to hear more. Happy Anniversary and good luck in the casino!

(Saved my first cruise critic post for you.) :)

I am honored to be your first LOL. That happens to me when I read other reports with food pics, i immediately get hungry and dissatisfied with what I end up having at that time LOL.

Thanks for following! Just finishing up in the haze and heading back to find an afternoon activity.

Anybody else think that the buffet food could be a few degrees hotter overall? I like the Eggs Benedict as well, but felt a bit concerned eating them lukewarm, which they usually were. Luckily no GI issues though, eating 2 of them every day.

I agree regarding the buffet and most buffets in general. I steer clear from Benedict in most buffets, and that one this morning was in the haven restuarant where they cook to order so i can get them a bit more well done as I like them.
