Schoifmom Posted August 25, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2015 We will be stopping at Grand Caymen for the first time on this cruise. DH uses a mobility scooter for distances, but since this is a tender port, he will not be able to take it ashore. How far would he have to walk before getting to buses or taxis to take us where we want to go?
cb at sea Posted August 25, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2015 I don't know if a taxi would pick you up right at the tender dock...but the bus is about 2 blocks away....
caribsun Posted August 26, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 26, 2015 (edited) From the tender to the street curb would be less then a 1/4 of a mile. Cabs are circling this area all day. :) Edited August 26, 2015 by caribsun
Capt_BJ Posted August 27, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 27, 2015 using Google Earth's measuring tool, and assuming you arrive at the main tender landing area, I estimate your distance to a taxi at under 150 yards
