Has anyone ever hit the Jack Pot? I see NCL promoting winners that hit slot machine Jack Pots but never Paradise Lotto big winners(as far I know). Anyone know of any JacK Pot winners?

I was on the Getaway June 2015. The casino announced that it was $755,000. I asked at the players club when it was last won. I was told the Paradise Lotto Jackpot was last won in 2013. Lisa

The odds of getting 5/5 numbers from 80 is 24 million to 1.

Theoretically, if they sell say 4000 tickets per 7 day cruise, one could expect a winner once every 115 years.

So...you're saying there's STILL A CHANCE!

(Dumb and Dumber)

I still remember when I was on the Getaway last year, this one casino worker kept telling me to buy the Paradise Lotto Ticket cuz one left blah blah. Finally, I bought 3 lotto tickets and didn't win anything. Needless to say, I haven't bought a lotto ticket since lol

Assuming it is 5/5 out of 60. Lotto so the number gets removed.

1 in 60 chance of first number, 1 in 59 in second, 1 in 58 on third, 1 in 57 on 4th, 1 in 56 on 5th.

1/ (60x59x58x57x56) = WASTE OF MONEY.

Or also 1 in 655,381,440 chance.

It is actually 5 in 60, 4 in 59, 3 in 58, 2 in 57, and 1 in 56

Jeff is right, about 1 in 5.5m, still a waste of money.

If it is 60 balls, the first pull has 59 bad balls, and only one good ball. Not five.

Unless this is some wacky 5 balls on one pull or other scenario.

You choose 5 numbers which can be drawn in any order so the first ball has 5 chances for you to be right, the second 4, the third 3, and so on.

Also, I searched and couldn't find the jackpot size but I did see the rules which stats that a winner has the option of taking 50% now or have it paid over 40 years so whatever the amount divide by 2.

Okay in that case, my calculation was indeed wrong. I was doing “normal” lottery picking odds.
