DaisyDoo246 Posted September 1, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2015 We booked on board Allure last month and received U.S. T&C's - we live in the UK. I'm still confused as to the benefits and also any benefit in transferring it to a UK TA. I understood that under U.S. T&C's we could change the cruise with no admin fees. However, we booked with the BOGOHP offer which I now believe is only applicable to that sailing. Can anybody clarify and offer advice please. We received the booking confirmation on board in £ but no T&C's Thanks in advance.
Alohaaloha Posted September 1, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 1, 2015 When we booked on board, our booking was transferred over to our British TA ( the one we'd booked the sailing we were on) I was led to believe that T&C's then revert to British T&C's which of course are not as advantageous as U.S. ones. I may be wrong, but like you, I thought as we'd booked onboard we'd get the U.S. benefits but no, doesn't happen, or rather didn't happen for us! uksimonusa Posted September 1, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 1, 2015 I think if you booked in £'s then you booked under UK T&C's

heatherb1958 Posted September 1, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 1, 2015 (edited) DaisyDoo , Sorry to tell you but as uksimonusa said if your invoice is in Sterling you booked under UK terms and conditions. We are seasoned cruisers , book in both UK and US depending on what is being offered. If we book on board through the US agent the invoice is in Dollars , if through RCI UK it is in Sterling, the only thing that would be quoted in Dollars in both instances is if any OBC ( onboard credit ) is offered.
