I've not seen snorkel gear for rent on the ship. They do have snorkel sets for sale. Also, if you take a snorkel excursion, they will supply snorkel gear. mwne2nks Posted September 2, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted September 2, 2015 OK I thought they had it for rent. We are going to see the stingrays and want to be able to see them under the water.

And all the excursions appear to provide, or there are scads of places on shore that rent them. So you shouldn't have an issue. On our Grand Cayman excursion (private booking), we did not really need to snorkels to enjoy the rays. Frankly, the water is so clear, if you want to see them underwater, just hold your breath, go under and open your eyes! But if you go a little bit further out to sea (just a few hundred yards), you'll be at the reef. Great snorkeling there...so depending on how you're doing your excursion, see if you can have them take you out there. Well worth it, and it took our boat about 2 minutes to get there from Stingray City.
