desertmoon Posted September 8, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 8, 2015 There are 3 kinds of excursions: ship, internet and walk-onto-the-pier. We're limited to the ship's offerings in Colon and have looked into the exploding list of internet vendors through Trip Advisor. Any recommendations for free-lance vendors in Aruba, Cartagena, Limon and Ocho Rios? The internet deals used to be much cheaper than the ship, but that's changed a lot recently. We've had great luck with free-lancers in Puerto Rico, Bahamas and Mexican ports, but have not visited any of the upcoming sites and we don't want to be stuck without transportation. Any suggestions, including internet vendors you've used will be appreciated.
CruiserBruce Posted September 8, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 8, 2015 As this has nothing to do with Princess, you are far better off to look on the Ports boards, here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=587 where you will find lots of info on each port, including tour vender recommendations, and the possibility you won't even need a tour guide, you might be able to tour around "do it yourself". Rare Keith1010 Posted September 9, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 9, 2015 You've been given good advice. To get idea on tours that are private check out the ports of call board and your roll call. Also check out Trip Advisor. Keith
