Help1 Non-converting twins in Mini-suite?

We just got our cruise documents and they state that the beds in our mini-suite D424 on Golden Princess are non-converting? Is that true? I thought all of these beds could be pushed together.

Please help! I would like my husband to know before we get on the ship.

was this a GUAR cabin? I have one of those and I seem to read this a lot about the GUAR cabins.

That's what I heard too. When you book a guarantee and they assign a cabin, they always have it listed as non-converting twins.

Most of the time, the system says that as a default. Just call Princess and have them change it if you want a queen.

We upgraded from a balcony room to a mini-suite just to have a queen bed. We are on the Dolphin Deck of the Caribbean Princess, too. However, I just noticed on our docs that it says "non-conforming" twins! It's the system default. Have your TA call or call Princess yourself. We had a mini last week and they had the beds configured as a queen.

A quick all to 1-800-PRINCESS will fix this up. Press "3" for already booked and have your booking number handy. The person you speak with will be able to make the change and confirm it within seconds. If you like, you can then go into the Cruise Personalizer and check and see for yourself. Also, in the event you do request Queen config and arrive on-board and the beds are set-up as twins, just ask your cabin steward to set them up as a queen. When you get back from dinner the first night, it'll be just the way you want.

The deck plans on Travelocity are pretty good. There are a few balcony cabins that have an * to indicate that the beds can't be converted from two twins to a queen. There are not any minis that I see.

We seldom get our beds configured correctly, but it's no trouble for us to leave a note for our cabin steward (if we don't see him) and get them made right.

I know you can ask you steward to convert--if convertible, but worried they weren't.

Last year stayed in a hotel with "convertible twins" and found out after checking in they weren't.
