Price reductiion on holiday cruise

Our full oayment is due shortly on our New Years cruise on Allure of the seas. Just got notice today from travel agent. Rechecked prices and our cabin is about $500 less. We have five cabins booked for our entire family. Will royal Caribbean make adjustment for us if we notify travel agent?

Royal will usually grant the lower price, however there can be exceptions, such as if the lower price is restricted to new bookings. Note also if you have some other perk (like on board credit) that was offered when you originally booked, you may lose it. Have your travel agent request the lower price.

It's actually surprised me but in the past few weeks Royal has had some significant drops on both Christmas and New Years cruises on Oasis, allure and Anthem (possibly others but those are the ones that I have been watching). Would have thought that they would have waited until after final payment to make the price drops.

I am bummed. I don't see any price drops on our New Year's cruise on Navigator.
