Cruseforme Posted September 16, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2015 Has anyone taken the Global Gourmet Cooking Class on the Riviera or Marina? They have a very ambiguous description of the class offering (Their verbiage: This class was designed to help you better appreciate the cuisines of the world, and to explore the spices, cooking techniques, ingredients, vessels and preparation of foods from around the world. ) We were curious if anyone took this class and has any insight to the recipes/techniques. StanandJim Posted September 17, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2015 The Culinary Center is a marvelous innovation, and there are a number of very knowledgeable and accomplished instructors, but with the classes being formed as they are, it is impossible to get more complex than the ingredients of a sauce, or how to judge the done-ness of meat without cutting into it. Any of the Classes are interesting, different ways to spend a few hours, and nothing more. They are diversions, not instructions in the truest sense of the word. Rare ronrick1943 Posted September 17, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 17, 2015 Gourmet, not so sure about that, but you do learn something and the classes are really a lot of fun. We enjoyed everyone we took. Rick

Rick Its supposedly a new class just introduced in April, part of the series, this one being specifically called Global Gourmet, as opposed to the Pizza Maker, Tapas, Mermaid, Bundle of Love, etc. Was just wondering if anyone had taken this specific one, as opposed to the others listed in the series.
