Cruiser-66 Posted September 29, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2015 My family of six are planning a cruise for this coming Feb.. We will be booking two balcony cabins. What is the normal deposit if I miss tomorrows deadline for $50 down. Is the deposit for every person, even children?
kidlessatsea Posted September 29, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2015 $250 per person for 6 and 7 day cruises. Every single person must pay a deposit.
ready2cruzagain Posted September 29, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 29, 2015 (edited) The deposit goes up significantly. It will be $250 pp so instead of a $300 deposit with the sale it will be a $1500 deposit after the sale. Make sure you are aware of Early Saver terms and conditions before jumping in and booking Early Saver. PS: Even kids Edited September 29, 2015 by ready2cruzagain
dioxide45 Posted September 29, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2015 You don't really save anything with the sale. You just delay the inevitable. You end up paying the full balance of the cruise when it comes due.
kteachcruiser52 Posted September 30, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 30, 2015 Another thing to remember is that if you book Early Saver with a $50 pp deposit and then see a price drop on a sale that does not have the $50 deposit feature, you can't price match to the sale without paying the full deposit within 24 hours. riclop Posted September 30, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 30, 2015 There is no $50 deposit, it's another BS tactic.
Shutterlady Posted September 30, 2015 #7 Share Posted September 30, 2015 I booked a 7 day last week, an inside as past guest and an ocean suite as early saver and I had to pay $250 per person. I guess either way it's all the same in the end.
