luvalot Posted October 11, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 11, 2015 I noticed the hotels in Galveston are quite pricey. Does it make any sense to stay in Seabrook and find a shuttle from there to Galveston? Or any other ideas :) Thanks!

Much more reasonable than Galveston Island and no two night stay requirement.
TxShipShape Posted October 11, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 11, 2015 Last summer stayed at Hampton Inn in Webster. Plenty of food choices within walking distance. Not sure about a shuttle, I would call them direct and ask. but if you are driving any hotel in Webster is only 30 miles of so from the port. luvalot Posted October 11, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted October 11, 2015 What's your budget and when are you cruising? We aren't cruising until November 27, 2016. I am a planner. LOL We will fly in the day before. We do not want to spend more than $125 if possible. Continental breakfast would be preferable. Thanks for the replies so far! We like to walk around pedestrian friendly areas.
