Stay the night in Seabrook for Galveston cruise??

I noticed the hotels in Galveston are quite pricey.

Does it make any sense to stay in Seabrook and find a shuttle from there to Galveston?

Or any other ideas :)

Thanks!

We had the same decision to make last year, and chose the Clear Lake area. Much more reasonable than Galveston Island and no two night stay requirement.

What's your budget and when are you cruising?

We aren't cruising until November 27, 2016. I am a planner. LOL

We will fly in the day before.

We do not want to spend more than $125 if possible. Continental breakfast would be preferable.

Thanks for the replies so far!

How did you like the Clear Lake area? Is there anything in particular to do for the afternoon? We like to walk around pedestrian friendly areas.

The area seemed nice enough, but I did not notice many options within short walking distance. We had a car and drove to the Kemeh Boardwalk area.
