Internet package on Independance

Hi,we are on the Independance of the seas in Feb 2016. My question is how good is the internet package on this ship. Do you get wifi everywhere on the ship ? Also can you lets say watch the NHL hockey on NHL center Ice package ?? It's a 5 days cruise and the unlimited internet is $26 canadian per day, kinda just curious what they mean by unlimited ??? Is it better to buy before we cruise or wait till we are on the ship. Thanks for all info in advance .

You can get WiFi everywhere, but it currently does not support video streaming. Unlimited means they are not counting bytes, it's a fixed fee no matter how much you use it.

Tip from fellow Canadian who will be on the Indy for 10 nights in a few weeks....

Call Gifts and Gear and buy onboard credit in USD, for 1:10 CDN (example; buy $300 USD for $330 CDN) Once onboard, purchase your internet package, as it will be cheaper (because it is in USD).

Unlimited internet means you can use whenever, and for as long as you want to - there are different prices for the package depending on how many devices you put on it.
