How is the French press coffee? I want to try it on my next cruise. The coffee on the ship is so gross.

 

Is it included in the UBP?

 

No coffees are included in the UBP (there is even some confusion about whether Irish coffee is included...)

Oreo cheesecake for me and apple tart for DH. He actually tried telling me at the end of the week that he had not had any sweets all week long. i reminded themn of this picture, not to mention all the banana bread he ate that the butler brought.

It was yummy, I love lobster and hardly ever have it in real life, but I had a ton of it on vacation.

The only other place I saw the French press coffee other than the haven was in le Bistro. One morning I got a mochacino from the Atrium cafe and it was not included.

I got the same thing every morning from the Atrium. But I didn't have the UBP then so I didn't know if specialty coffees were included.

I have to agree with you, The chairs are really bad!

 

My husband has an issue with sitting on hard surfaces, so he wouldn't go to bingo after that in headliners. When we saw Rock of Ages, I was fine for the first hour or so, but the last 30 minutes, bothererd me, I was trying not to keep moving because i did not want to disturb the people behind me.

 

I only found a few misses on this vacation, the main ones were the chairs and the elevators. They would go pass floors. I had no problem walking a flight or two, but being on 14 I did not want to walk to or from 6 to get to the room.

I'm loving this review! And your pics are great. My DH loves taking pictures of food so he gets a kick out of this; and it makes the wait (27 days) that much harder lol

DH initially complained about the food pics. I told him they were easy to take since the food does not move around. He has gotten use to it, so now he waits for the picture to be taken before he lifts his fork.

I thought the slots were very tight until the last two days. I played the quick hit penny and two penny machines. I will go into details on those days, but yes, I came home with a smile on my face and planning another cruise.

I always buy the internet packge. Our dogs are so spoiled we don't like to disturb their lives, so we have people stay with them, so they can sleep in their own (our) bed. I stay connected in case there are any problems with the dogs, one has random seizures, or with the house. I also stay connected for work, plus I like to log into my bank account to check balances and finally I have 7 fantasy football teams, so I need to set my leagues.

 

They changed the package, I got the one which was 100 minutes, but is now 300 mb, I usually have to re-up, but this package lasted the entire cruise with 15 mb left. There was a work issue, so, I think the minutes I used were near 300. I found it to be a great value for $59.

Breakfast in the have, if found they have a buffet with breads, fruit, salmon, cheese, meat and cereals.

I kept the navigation channel on, that is where I saw we were going to Norfolk, it was the medical evacuation, it was sucessful, but at some point tyhe announced we would not arrive in Bermuda until 2 on Wednesday.

We had dinner in Ocean Blue the last night and the woman near us said she lost $700 that day and $2,500 the day before.:eek:

Most art auctions I have attended serve champagne, but this one did not, the one on the last day did have it. I still bought something even without champagne.

Art auction was over around 2:30 and most places close for lunch at 2:00. I went to O'Sheehans. They were packed and it took a couple of minutes to be sat. The service was not overly friendly unlike what I experienced on the rest of the ship, however, I received the food lightning fast.

I love 80s music, so Rock of Ages was a no-brainer. My husband also really enjoyed the show. As I said before the only thing that would have made it better were chairs that were more comfortable.
