Health Paperwork

I am looking for the paperwork they ask you to sign when checking in. Traveling with two handicap individuals would love to do it add of time.

The "standard" health questionnaire is just a couple of questions with check boxes. It's really quick and easy - especially if you bring your own pen. They really prefer you do it right there so it's as current as possible.

In some ports, you will get the "fish eye" or be required to fill one out right there.

 

I used my own once when we first started cruising and it took longer than if I had filled it out at the port. The rep had to get permission from her supervisor to let me use it.:(

It seriously takes no more than a few seconds to fill out - as previously stated, it's 2 questions. It asks whether you've had fever, vomiting in the last couple of days. It's to make sure folks with a contagious illness (i.e. norovirus) aren't boarding the ship.

 

Funny aside story, on a stop in Cozumel, one young lady at a bar told us she turned 21 the night before her cruise & partied in New Orleans, so the next day while boarding, she felt horrible, needless to say. Carnival almost didn't let her on the ship, thinking she had noro. She assured them it was just too much tequila.

It's four questions, two having to do with the fever, etc. and two asking if you went to Africa (Ebola-related.) The point of the survey is to assess someone's health at the time of boarding, so doing it ahead of time would defeat the purpose. (Yes, I know people lie, etc., but that's not the issue here.)

A couple of folks on our Coral cruise in line with us attempted to had in pre filled forms. They were held up and given blank ones to complete.
