I will be going to the Grand Caymans in Jan on Carnival and was wondering what is Carnival's track record on getting to the port on time. We are slated to arrive at 8am. Wanting to schedule the earliest String Ray tour I can.

Thanks,

The ship will be on time, but if the seas are rough, but not rough enough to cancel the port call, it will slow down the tendering process.

IMO, any non-ship excursion you book will wait a reasonable time for tardy pax to show up. So you could hustle and get off the ship right away only to wait 20-30 mins onshore for your tour to assemble.
