Pre-ordering Wine

We were thinking of pre-ordering wine (since we can only bring 2 bottles on board). RCCL website gives you the choice of dining room or stateroom delivery. It says "Stateroom delivery indicates you will drink your wine in your stateroom only" What's up with that?!?!? :eek:

I think that is old info on the website. We always have our wine delivered to the stateroom and bring it to the dining room with no corkage fees.

May I ask why you order wine ahead of time for delivery in the dining room rather than just order wine when you're sitting down to dinner? Just curious. Thanks.

I'm just guessing but perhaps to guarantee getting the wine you like? Not sure.

Maybe someone wants to surprise someone with wine as a gift?? We just are looking to get it delivered to our stateroom. Guess they have to offer both places.
