complaints

Sadly it is the same with any business, you get the complainers - rarely do those who enjoyed themselves and had no complaints bother to call and tell you what a great job you are doing.

I personally am looking forward to our first cruise on Royal, though it seems all the lines are doing cutbacks. Some are bothersome and some I could care less about. There are a lot of things that they must take into consideration when making choices. You are never going to please everyone.

For instance the chocolates at night at turndown, I never eat them. So if they take them away it doesn't bother me. Personally I hated throwing them away as I really felt it was a waste. Food I never really pay attention to comments as food is subjective and what is fantastic to one person is downright awful to another.

I have never had a bad cruise, now occasionally service was a little odd or slow, or maybe you encounter a rude employee or passenger. It happens everywhere, I don't let it bother me. You just have to go with the flow.

That is probably a fair statement, Thought I like to think there is more of that than either of us think. I at least know from responses I have received from Royal that they do read them and comprehend them. My email/surveys after a cruise are usually a summary, "This went well, this could be improved"

I know/knew as of May 2013 that people loved the Freestyle machines on Allure. People said good things about them for weeks before and after my cruise, but there were a lot of problems on my cruise. Royal's response was very nice talking about how they were still learning the maintenance part of these machines and what spare parts to keep on board.

Thank you. I will be sailing on my first RCL cruise this Dec. I am looking forward to seeing another companies view on cruising. I have to admit reading some of the reviews and comments make me afraid of what my experience will be with RCL. I have been a loyal NCL customer and have been nothing but thrilled with my experience on all NCL cruises. I will be sailing on Oasis of the seas this Dec 5th and I am hopeful that I have a relaxed and beautiful experience !
