jnojr Posted November 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 15, 2015 I know about this and [/url]this I'm interested in anything that's unique to AotS since it's an older ship, or anything specific as to how these perks apply. What can the concierge do for you? Does AotS have the full honor bar? Are there shows on AotS that require tickets? Is there a VIP pool area / deck? Does it include a hot tub that hopefully doesn't contain 20 frat boys at any given time? Does the full-menu room service apply on AotS? Any other ways your gold card helped smooth the way? Usual caveats apply... I'm going to have a great time no matter what, please no replies by the suite-envious, please no comparisons to how other ships or cruise lines differ, etc. Just looking for any insight by anyone who's personally knowledgeable of how this is handled on Adventure. Thanks!

Thanks! There is no "honor bar" on any Royal ship. If you read that term on Royal's website, it's because that portion has not been updated. No tickets for any shows on Adventure. There is a suite seating area on the pool deck, but no pools or hot tubs are dedicated to suite guests. Suite guests can order from the MDR menu any time the MDR is open. Thanks! We have cruised on the Adventure a couple of times as suite guests. On our last one the concierge lounge was monopolized by a big family and didn't spend too much time there. We also liked the diamond lounge better. Our favorite perks were having breakfast in Giovanny's table and the reserved area on the ice show. We didn't use the reserved seats on the pool. This was our first cruise in RCCL after some time away with Celebrity and really missed Celebrity's suite perks. Happy cruising!
cb at sea Posted November 15, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 15, 2015 The "mini bar" has soft drinks, candy, water.....that's about it. No booze. Even suites don't get freebies from the mini-bar. No tickets for any show....go to the ones you want....very easy! The shows are scheduled around the 2 traditional seating times. Early dining goes after dinner. Late seating goes before dinner....if you have MTD, then you eat according to which show you want to attend. The Concierge can help you with whatever you don't wish to do for yourself....specialty reservations, excursions, special purchases from gifts and gear....stuff like that. newxmascruiser Posted November 15, 2015 #6 Share Posted November 15, 2015 Just got home today after a week on Adventure in a suite. Giovannis breakfast was nice fresh cooked pretty much same menu as mdr sea day breakfasts but available every day. Ice show seating is good however it's limited and fills up quick especially as people save seats!! Coffee machine in concierge lounge is available 24hrs. Pastries etc in the mornings as well. Seating at the pool deck is tiered so you get a good view when pool side activities are going on. We got a cheese plate one night delivered to our suite a fruit plate another and a dessert plate another. Disembark is escorted and through a priority line at customs.
