Catmomma Posted November 20, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2015 I have a large group I am cruising with next February on the Oasis and I want to put together a slot pull. I have looked up youtube videos of the casino but they are too blurry to answer my question. I want to know if there is a $1 Wheel of Fortune Machine (pretty common to have a few of these) and if so, what is the max bet? Some are $3 and some are $5. Any gamblers been on the ship recently that can answer my question?

Any gamblers been on the ship recently that can answer my question? I remember seeing at least two Wheel of Fortune slots two weeks ago. Don't recall the maximum bet. I like the party slot machine and there was only one. It seemed a lot of people wanted to play that one.
ED209 Posted November 20, 2015 #3 Share Posted November 20, 2015 (edited) We were on the Oasis two weeks ago. The wheel of fortune machines are in the casino against the wall near the aft elevator area entrance. They are $1 or $2 machines with 2 or 3 max credit. Our group did our slot pull on one of the wheel of fortune machines but didn't win anything. Edited November 20, 2015 by ED209
cb at sea Posted November 20, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 20, 2015 The "Wheel of Fortune" machines outside of Vegas are NOT like the ones IN Vegas! Just a heads up!
wolfganghowell Posted November 20, 2015 #5 Share Posted November 20, 2015 (edited) I played this bank last week. Great time - won over $900 the first night and held onto it all week long. They are dollar machines and were $3 max bet - the one on the far right is a $5 max bet - the kind that you have to get 3 Spin's lined up. Not sure what cb means - these are just like Wheel of Fortune machines I've played in Vegas and New Orleans. wampuscat7 Posted November 20, 2015 #6 Share Posted November 20, 2015 Those Wheel of Fortune machines don't look like they have a combined progressive like the ones I've played in Vegas/land casinos. Maybe that's what CB meant?
wolfganghowell Posted November 20, 2015 #7 Share Posted November 20, 2015 True - they are not progressives. The top pay is $20,000.
Catmomma Posted November 21, 2015 Author #8 Share Posted November 21, 2015 Thanks guys. So basically if I have a $15 buy in for the slot pull it will work on either the $3 or the $5 max bet machines. That is what I was trying to figure out. Would have totally screwed me up if the max bet was $2 or $4 (which I have seen at Indian casinos)

There are Wheel of Fortune machines at Bally's that are the same as on the ship
Rare h20skibum Posted November 28, 2015 #10 Share Posted November 28, 2015 In addition to the bank of machines that Wolf posted a picture of, there are two more port side, aft. One of those is one we used for our slot pull. Those were $3 max bet machines. The ones Wolf posted are on the starboard side, aft, near the tables. LoveThoseSeaDays Posted November 28, 2015 #11 Share Posted November 28, 2015 How would a slot pull work as a group activity? I'm thinking this might be fun for our group too!
Rare h20skibum Posted November 28, 2015 #12 Share Posted November 28, 2015 How would a slot pull work as a group activity? I'm thinking this might be fun for our group too! They are a lot of fun. This is the explanation of what was organized for our cruise. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showpost.php?p=47181093&postcount=209 Someone said on one of their cruises, they collected the money at the meet and mingle, so they had good participation. Usually, some do not show for the slot pull. Enjoy it?
