seadog67 Posted November 24, 2015 Author #135 Share Posted November 24, 2015 (edited) In addition to starbucks for sale the complimentary coffee is I assume Seattle's Best Mission Accomplished! Love the little details, notice the coffee cups on the cafe promenade header :) Good morning sunshine! Looks to be a spectacular day: Land hoo, as we inch closer to the NW coast of Haiti better known as Labadee, the gentle waves created in our bow wake create the most soothing sound, there is no place I would rather be.. Trying to figure out when Captain Holmes is back on and since the new captain came mid-way through rotatation. Thanks and have a fun day and remainder of the cruise! batt01 Posted November 24, 2015 #148 Share Posted November 24, 2015 If you recall..can you tell us if the Nellie's over the water cabanas looked fully booked? I have purchased one at the very high recently increased price in January as our party of 5 consists of 3 people with varying special needs and I was thinking that the shade, fan and place to call home would be very beneficial. (We aren't doing many other excursions, so felt that the price was fine for us - although I know it is controversial). In any case, I'm thinking that we might be better off just getting two clam shells on Nellies or Columbus, but I'm afraid of cancelling the cabana at this point until I can figure out what is best for our group. I think my main worry is that chairs will all be grabbed very quickly on these two beaches and we will be left with something in the sun or too far away from the water for us to enjoy for the day. Is this a valid concern? Since you are on the same ship (same amount of people) can you give us an idea as to how busy these two beaches become and how quickly? If you happened to notice through your Labadoozie goggles ;)

Bloemerl Posted November 24, 2015 #150 Share Posted November 24, 2015 SEADOG, Thanks for the daily updates. They have been very eye opening as we sail on Dec 6. We are also booked on the freedom in late Feb (28th). We are booked in cabin 1853 on deck 12. This cabin was newly created during the last ship upgrade. Have not been able to get much information on it other than it is high and up front. My wife is nervous about where the entry to the cabin is. She doesn't like it to be in the middle of the long side as that layout is hard to work with. If you get a chance in your travels please take a look and see. Have a great cruise and we look forward to additional updates.
