Taste bar.....breeze

Just wondering what foods are offered in the evening at the taste bar. Every time we cruise it hasn't changed. Always had a meatball one night or pulled pork another night. We seem to only hit those nights on every cruise. What else is offered? Thanks

At the taste bar I have also seen Fried Malanga (sweet potatoes) and Short rib croquettes.

What times the Taste Bar generally open? I know we've stopped by and had. Few drinks in the past and little appetizers but not recently.

We had a sample of soup one night... cant remember what exactly it was now.

We had meat ball, malanga and carnitas on this trip. All were fabulous.

 

We've also had a ham and cheese sandwich that was awesome!

And don't miss the taste bar during the day.

 

At breakfast they serve an expanded continental breakfast that also has eggs and hot cereals as well as the meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, fruit and juices.

 

At lunch they have custom made salads (you tell the chef what all you want in it, and they make it), plus really good turkey wraps.

 

Breakfast is everyday, but lunch is only sea days.

I'm confused...hoping recent cruisers can clarify for me! :o Been on many Carnival cruises and I've never seen anything "cocktail" like at the Taste Bar. I do recall sake at the sushi cart - before it was replaced with Taste, nothing since then.

 

BUT....I asked my PVP for a listing of all the bar locations on the Breeze. The list shows:

 

The Taste Bar

Location: Promenade Deck 5 - midship

Hours: 5:00pm-8:00pm, sea days and select port days

Function: Appetizer Program

I remember there being drink specials at the Taste Bar on our last cruise. I didn't go, so I don't know how it was set up.
