BaldEagle100 Posted November 30, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2015 Did you purchase a Royal Caribbean cruise during the October 2015 - 6 day WoW offer? Buy One Get One Half Price For example. 14 Night Central Med. Independence of the Seas. Depart Southampton. May 2016 Did you notice that on the on the 6th day the cruise base price changed? Did you pay about £800 more on day 6 than you would have paid on days 1 to 5 Did you actually get the price advertised on day 1 to 5? Day 5 WoW base price Internal £1077/533 Ocean View £1336/668 Balcony £1637/818 Suite £2673/1336 Day 6 WoW base price Internal £1499/749 Ocean View £1869/934 Balcony £2299/1149 Suite £3779/1889 Screen shots of above held but not allowed to publish according to posting rules. I would be really interested to hear your views Is it morally right to change the base price on an advertised 6 day offer on prior to end of those 6 days? dada2199cc Posted November 30, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 30, 2015 It's possible that a lot of cabins sold during the first 5 days, which is why the price will naturally go up as there is less availability. Nothing immoral here -- supply and demand dictate pricing.
bouhunter Posted November 30, 2015 #3 Share Posted November 30, 2015 They can and will change prices all the time. Morality has nothing to do with it.
